Debashish Chakravorty serves as the Executive Vice President for India formulations at Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS). In this role, he oversees various sites, including Pithampur in Madhya Pradesh, which focuses on Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) + Form Fill and Seal (FFS) for the Global Market. Additionally, he manages the Mahad site in Maharashtra, specializing in OSD and Vitamins for the Rest of the World (RoW), and handles Development activities for PPDS. Furthermore, Mr. Chakravorty is responsible for the Ahmedabad site in Gujarat, focusing on OSD Development for the Global Market. He is also a board member of Yapan Bio Private Limited, an associate company of Piramal Pharma Limited.

With a techno-commercial understanding of operations, Mr. Chakravorty has held P&L responsibilities for these sites, demonstrating expertise in driving financial growth. He collaborates with customers to ensure the seamless integration of operations from the early stages through life cycle management. With over three decades of association with Piramal, he brings a wealth of experience to his current role.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Chakravorty held a site lead position for Pithampur (PTP) for seven years. He also led Global Business and Strategic Projects for PPS, involving multiple geographies and cultures. A Manufacturing Pharmacist with a background in OSD, he holds an MBA in Finance.
