At Piramal Pharma Solutions, our mission is to help our clients with their quest to reduce the burden of disease for patients worldwide. Every day, we commit ourselves to doing well and doing good, ensuring that patients are the primary beneficiaries of our efforts. By prioritizing patient centricity in all aspects of our work, we create innovative solutions that address the real needs of those we serve.
Since 2020, patient centricity has been at the heart of our operations. Under the leadership of Stuart Needleman, our Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Patient Centricity Officer, we have reinforced this sentiment throughout the organization. Mr. Needleman's vision emphasizes integrating patient perspectives into our processes, ensuring they remain central to our mission.

We have launched several global initiatives to support this vision and foster a culture that prioritizes patients. These initiatives ensure our services align with patients' needs and expectations, ultimately leading to better health outcomes.
The cornerstones of our patient-centric approach are the Patient Awareness Councils (PACs) at all 15 facilities worldwide. The PACs are comprised of volunteers representing a wide variety of job functions and management levels. They are vital in educating our teams about patient concerns and best practices for adopting a patient-centric approach. By reinforcing our connection to the patients we serve, these councils help us understand their challenges and enable us to address their needs more effectively.

Our PACs facilitate open discussions about patient experiences, enabling our teams to gain insights that inform our strategies. This ongoing dialogue enhances our commitment to compassion in healthcare, ensuring our innovations are practical and empathetic.
We celebrate patient centricity every day, engaging in various initiatives designed to inform our employees and enhance the patient experience. We organize educational seminars to foster a culture of learning and awareness, enabling our teams to be the best possible patient advocates. Our PACs arrange firsthand interactions with patients, allowing them to witness the impact of our work and discover what patients are seeking from their health care. We've even helped launch a nationwide patient-centric initiative in Scotland to promote our principles beyond our walls.

These experiences deepen our understanding of patient needs and reinforce our commitment to compassionate innovation.

To ensure effective communication across our sites, we utilize newsletters, digital marketing, swag, graphics, and other platforms to share updates on our patient-centric initiatives. This consistent communication helps create a unified understanding of our goals and reinforces the importance of compassion in healthcare throughout our organization.
Today's patients increasingly seek personalized medicine that accommodates their unique needs and preferences. This shift is reshaping how pharmaceutical companies approach drug development, highlighting the importance of tailoring therapies to patients' unique needs.

By adopting a patient-centric approach, companies can better understand their patient populations' specific health challenges and treatment expectations. This insight paves the way for more effective therapies that align with patient lifestyles and preferences, ultimately enhancing treatment adherence and satisfaction.

As the demand for personalized medicine grows, pharmaceutical companies must adapt their strategies to remain relevant and competitive. Embracing patient centricity will ensure that the industry evolves in a way that truly meets patients' needs, leading to improved health outcomes and a more compassionate healthcare system.
Patient centricity is not just a principle at Piramal it's the driving force behind our operations. By prioritizing patients' needs and fostering a culture of empathy, we are transforming the way we approach drug development and healthcare services. As we continue championing patient-centric drug development, we remain dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patients' lives worldwide.
