Morpeth site (UK)

The Morpeth formulations team works closely with the API teams and preformulations scientists for formulations development.

In the area for formulations development and CTM supply, the site is equipped with High Shear Granulation, Roller Compaction, Fluid Bed processing etc for solid dose supply with batch sizes of 0.2Kgs – 30Kgs.

The site has a dedicated area for development, scale up and manufacture of Hormonal tablets.

CTM supply from the site can be packed in blisters or bottles for Clinical Trials at ths site itself. The site provides services of comparator drug sourcing, primary and secondary packaging, sample blinding, supply and distribution and drug destruction services.

Mumbai site (India)

The Mumbai pharma solutions development team have dedicated and experienced pre-formulation, formulation, analytical and microbiology laboratories and provide a wide range of services including:

Injectables – contract manufacturing and development services for injectable and parenteral dosage forms including sterile aqueous and non-aqueous liquids, suspensions, emulsions, microemulsions and lyophilized products for NCE and generic molecules.

Opthalmics – ophthalmic product development services for solutions, semi-solids, suspensions and emulsions for NCE and generic molecules.

Microbiology – all microbiological aspects of product development, process development and development/validation of microbiological test methods (and quality control testing) is performed.

Pediatrics – oral and systemic dosage form development.

Ahmedabad site (India)

The Ahmedabad site has a footprint of 50,000 square feet and involves formulations development labs, analytical labs and 10 Clinical Trials Material (CTM) supply GMP suites. The facility is expected to come on stream in January 2009 and will be the key site in India for Solid dose formulations development and CTM supply

The site will employ over 110 scientists in formulations and analytical development streams
